HushPuppies

Being influenced by sixties rock bands such as The Kinks and The Who has definitely proven to be a good move for this band. HushPuppies were formed back in 2002 in the south of France as actually a cover band for rock bands of that era. But when it came time to making their own music they managed to keep the same style as those early bands but still make it modern with the addition of a keyboard. About a year after forming, they released their first EP along with a live album. How many other bands out there do you know come out with a live album before an actual studio release? Two years and a few more EPs later HushPuppies finally released their debut album "The Trap". This lead to preforming a concert on a London bus in Paris with popular radio station Le Mouv. In 2007, they released their second album "Silence Is Golden". The song "You're Gonna Say Yeah" from that album has since been featured on the World Tour version of Guitar Hero. The band is now currently taking a break and new music should be available in a year or two.
