Madame Kay

With a name like Madame Kay I would bet that most of you thought it was another 20-something, female, pop singer. In actual fact, it's five guys from Paris that play moody rock that's a little more Green Day than it is Morrissey. Formed in 2001, they played the club scene and self-produced some demos for almost 4 years. It wasn't until mid-2005 that the band got signed to Sony. While working on their first album, they also became the subject of a French reality series that documented the band from start to finish. By 2006, the album, Choix De La Redaction, was released. No other music has been available since then but I would highly recommend listening to their song "Le Pire Reste A Venir".
