Daft Punk

This duo is without a doubt France's most popular musical export. They are also credited with making French House music mainstream to many corners of the world. These two friends from Paris released their first album back in 1997 called "Homework'. This record contained songs such as "Da Funk" and "Around The World" which made them huge in many countries as well as leaders in techno music. "Homework" managed to go Platinum in France and 2x Platinum in Canada. Next came "Discovery" in 2001. The singles "One More Time" and "Face To Face" were huge chart topping hits. Four years later their third album, "Human After All", was released but wasn't as successful as their previous records. However, this still didn't stop the duo from releasing remixes, live albums and even a film in 2007 called "Daft Punk's Electroma". In 2009 they won Grammys for their live album "Alive 2007" and single "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger". They are now currently in the works in making tracks for the upcoming film "Tron Legacy". Expect that soundtrack to just awesome as the rest of their work.
