These kids are soon are their way to becoming the indie darlings of France. Rhesus was formed back in 2001 by three friends all 24 years old at the time. About a year later they released their first of several EPs. They continued coming out with EPs, about one a year, until 2005 a full length album, "Sad Disco", was finally available. However, by this time they already had a bit of a cult following. In 2004 they were even named "Best Newcomer" by French magazine "Les Inrockuptibles". To promote "Sad Disco" Rhesus went on a 14-month long tour all over Europe. After that they went straight back into the studio and released a second album called "The Fortune Teller Said". From that album came the head-swaying single "Hey Darling". A very catchy sing-at-the-top-of-your-lungs song that will guarantee a smile. Again, they went on another long promotional tour. While touring Rhesus also released a collection of B-side. The band is now taking a break and new album should hopefully be out soon.http://www.myspace.com/rhesusmusic
