La Phaze

This isn't you're average punk band, no matter what the language is. This trio consists of the standard instruments you would find in most rock bands but these guys go the extra step by adding turntables and keyboards. This makes their music sound very drum'n bass influenced with tons of high energy. La Phaze was started back in 1999 but did release their first full-length album, "Pungle Roads", until 2002. To fill the time between albums they came out with LPs and remixes of from their first album as well as a few new tracks. It wasn't until 2005 La Phaze second album "Fin De Cycle" was out. They had also now moved to Because Records, a top French indie label. During this time they also went through a lineup change, replacing their DJ for a drummer. In 2008 they released their third album "Miracle, again on Because Records. So far this has been their most successful record to date. The trio is now currently touring Europe and if things continue to go well we should see a new album in two years and maybe a few stops in North America.
