Started in 1971, Alain has been and still is France's most successful pop singer-songwriters. However, it took him almost three years and a collaboration with Laurent Voulzy to get the attention of the mainstream audience. Since then he's managed to release 15 full-length albums (the most recent came out in 2008) and win countless of awards. His biggest hit to date is "Foule Sentimentale" which stayed on the France charts for 26 weeks and jumped from No. 14 all the way to No. 1. The album this single is on, C'est Deja Ca, even managed to sell 1 million copies in France alone and be certified Diamond.
