Anaïs

She managed to create a name for herself in the band, Opossum, but has proven to be even more successful going solo. Anais released her first solo album in 2005 called The Creep Show. This been quite a smart move on her part seeing that after only a year later it sold 40,000 copies through word of mouth. It also can't hurt to do several collaborations with other indie musicians. About 18 months after first releasing The Creep Show, she re-released it to include a DVD as well as five new songs. To promote this, Anais managed to be the opening act for Alain Souchon at the Olympia in Paris. In 2008 she came out with her second album, The Love Album, which was able to peak at No. 9 on the album charts in France.
