Prototypes

Based in Paris, Prototypes are one of those rare bands that manage to have a career in the States. Formed in 2003, they were able to find some success in the Paris underground by coming out with two albums. By 2006, when their hit song "Who's Gonna Sing" was used in an American iPod commercial. This got people talking and wondering "who sings that song?". Soon enough hipsters started to catch on to their music. In 2006, Prototypes released their first ever US release. It also contained songs from their previous records. Since then, more of their songs have been used in commercials and TV shows. In 2008, they released their fourth album, Synthetique.
