Mickey 3D

Being from a mining town outside Lyon, France and developing strong political views has clearly proven to be benefiticial for this rock band. Formed in 1997, the group managed to release several demo tapes before being signed to an indie label. Under that label Mickey 3D came out with only one album, Mistigri Torture. A year later, they were signed to Virgin France and re-edited it. With this new version of Mistrigir they were able to achieve some mainstream success. It wasn't until about 2003 with the release of their third album that gave them international fame. The following year Mickey 3D also won three Victoires de la musique awards. Since then they have release a live album and two more studio works. The band is now on a tour around Europe.
