Kyo

When two brothers and two friends share a love for grunge music, it is only understandable that they form a band of their own. Formed in 1997, they were able to achieve their first record deal to Sony in 2000. That was also the same year the band released their self-titled debut album. This album alone was able to give Kyo a spot in the industry. It also paved the way for their second record, Le Chemin. This would instantly be one of their greatest pieces of work as it would sell close to 1.5 million copies. In 2004,Kyo was successfully able to top the fame of Le Chemin with 300 Lesions. It was able to achieve a Gold status in France in just 4 days. Since then there hasn't been much new music. They released a Best Of album in 2007 but are currently on hiatus. However, two of the members have formed an English signing band with two new members and call themselves Empyr. So far Empyr has done fairly well with the public.
