Empyr

Looks like the music industry is going to have to create a new term to describe supergroups formed by other supergroups. Maybe megagroups because that is exactly what Empyr is. Formed in 2007 by members of Kyo, Pleymo, Watcha and Vegastar. A year later their debut record, The Peaceful Riot, was released. On this album was the single "New Day" which also happens to be this alternative rock band's biggest hit to date. In 2009, a second album entitled Skin came out. Empyr is now recording their third studio album. Don't expect this megagroup to slow down anytime soon.
