Puss In Boots

Created in 2006, this group has come much farther then the original idea of a side project developed by the lead singer. Laura (no last name could be found) started off playing guitar in female rock bands around Paris. She soon enough realized that that she wanted to create her own band and thus started Puss In Boots. Her music with this new band is dark and almost goth in some places. Laura and her band mates mix electronics with deep, moody lyrics. Almost forming a more sinister Depeche Mode with female vocals. In 2009, they managed to preform a few shows with the White Lies and caught the attention of Daniel Miller, head of Mute Records. Don't be surprised to see them signed to Mute in a year or two and an album in the works.
