After a year long trip to America and discovering music from No Doubt to 50's swing to The Beach Boys lead singer Jennifer Ayache felt the need to to start a band of her own. The same year she got back to France, 1999, a band was formed. Ayache took all her new influences and messed them together to create a catchy, powerpop dance hits. The name Superbus was chosen by Ayache and it just so happens to mean 'proud' in Latin. By 2002 their debut album "Aeromusical" was released and managed to peak at No. 96 on the France album charts. Since then every release since then (Pop'n'Gum in 2004 and Wow in 2006) have significantly reach high on the charts. Superbus' current album Lova Lova debut at No. 2 only to be beaten by Seal. To hear what makes these guys so successful try the single "Nelly". I dare you not to get an earworm (song stuck in your head).http://www.myspace.com/superbusmusic
